All To Jesus I Surrender

I am Joseph Wong. In 2016, I attended a Skyline SIB event, even though I had not yet believed in the Lord. During the event, I felt the Holy Spirit say: “Come back and work for Me. Take the Bible and share My gospel. Follow My footsteps, neither left nor right.” At the time, I was unsure, as I had not yet chosen to follow Jesus.

It wasn’t until 2023 that I was baptised and fully committed my life to Christ. Before then, I struggled with two questions. First, “Why am I a sinner?” I thought I had done good, but the Spirit reminded me that even lying or speaking ill of others are sins. Second, “Why can’t we worship other gods?” The Spirit explained, “You already have a loving Father who gives you peace and abundance. Why seek another god?”

That Sunday, I told Pastor Philip, “I surrender. I want to follow Jesus and be baptised!” He rejoiced, and I felt my heart filled with peace. Looking back, I am grateful for God’s guidance and grace, and I desire to grow, serve, and love others more in Him.

我是 Joseph Wong。2016 年,我参加了 Skyline SIB 的一个活动,那时我还没有信主,却清楚感受到圣灵对我说:“你要回来跟我做工。拿着圣经去传扬我的福音,告诉他们不要背着我而行,要跟着我的脚步,不偏左、不偏右。”当时我半信半疑,因为我还没跟随主耶稣。

直到 2023 年,我才受洗,正式归向基督。在受洗前,我曾问过两个问题:第一,“为什么你说我是罪人?”我 自认为一直做好事,但圣灵提醒我,连小小的说谎或说别人坏话也在神眼中是罪。第二,“为什么不能拜别的神?”圣灵回答:“你已有一位深爱你的天父,他能赐你平安和富足,为什么还去信别的神?”

那个星期天,我告诉 Ps Philip:“我降服了,我要跟随主耶稣,要受洗了!”他非常喜悦,也让我心中充满安慰。回望这一路,我深深感受到神的恩典与带领,也更渴望在祂里成长、服事与爱人。
