God's Sustaining Strength

At age 65, on July 26, 2025, an ischemic embolic stroke suddenly paralysed the right side of my body. In that moment of crisis, God's grace was evident - my husband Philip was with me and called an ambulance immediately.

I am deeply thankful for the prayers and encouragement that poured in from elders, pastors, church members, friends, and my children who hurried home to support me. I also thank the doctors and physiotherapists who cared for me with skill and compassion. Through months of therapy, the Lord restored my strength, balance, and movement - slowly but surely.

Four months later, I developed a frozen right shoulder. The pain was relentless, the limitation frustrating. Yet even in this, God sustained me and taught me perseverance and trust in every circumstance.

I praise God for renewed health and a new lease of life. He has blessed me with a loving family and a faith community that walks together in hope and love. My prayer is to live each day thankful, content, and a blessing to others.

God is great. God is good. God is with me all the time.
